We received good customer service from every staff member we encountered.

The property is old and not very clean.

Staffs were super wonderful! Made us feel welcomed at all times. Really helpful and friendly. View was spectacular! Clean n well maintained. No mosquitoes at all inside the villa throughout our stay.

First of all embracing the amazing jungle view from the river front villa is amazing, also the room is huge and the breakfast is among the best in Bali island. Amy and Sugara are quite professional and they were able to meet all our requirements in a timely fashion. I found laundry service fee kind of expensive but it would not matter considering all the positive aspects. Its a quite hotel close to ubud market area and other attractions. If i visit the island again, Kupu Kupu Barong would be a great place to stay again.

The service of the staff was amazing. Krishna, was wonderful, always smiling, always willing to help and assist and looked after my family very well.

My stay at Kupu Kupu Resort had both highlights and areas for improvement. Positives: The view from the resort was absolutely breathtaking, and the staff were consistently amazing and attentive throughout my stay. I appreciated the complimentary fridge, which was a nice touch. The internal transportation speed within the resort was very efficient, making it easy to get around. Areas for Improvement: The 72 steps to the villa were quite exhausting and challenging, particularly for those who might have mobility concerns. The buggies provided felt outdated, raising concerns about their safety. The resort felt overpriced in many aspects. The rafting service offered was double the price compared to other places, and massages were about ten times more expensive than downtown options. The drinking water supply was inadequate, and for a resort of this level, more should be provided as standard. Being very far from downtown and located in the middle of the jungle made it quite isolated, which might not suit all travelers. Unfortunately, the telephone stopped working during rain, which was inconvenient. There was no Netflix account available, limiting entertainment options. The breakfast offered had limited choices and was underwhelming for the price paid. Grass cutting started as early as 8 AM, which was highly disruptive and woke us up earlier than we would have liked. In conclusion, while the staff and natural surroundings were exceptional, the high prices, inconvenient services, and other disturbances detracted from the overall experience. Addressing these issues could significantly improve the guest experience.

They should provide adaptors for 3 head plugs.

The staff tried , but some were not familiar with hospitality trade . This is my 2nd time at this property , & I must say it is very tired — needs re - furbishment soon . Stay wasn’t bad , but could be better … … .
