The Shanker-Palatial hotel is world class 4 star hotel with excellent and friendly staff that speak English remarkably well. Food and drinks, especially the cocktails were made with good attention to detail and quality ingredients. Breakfast buffet each morning was something to look forward to, cooking eggs to your liking with excellent coffee and pastries. From service to the room appointments and location, the wife and I enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a special place to stay for their trip in Kathmandu. The staff even gave us a small present to celebrate our anniversary, and over all made the whole stay feel special to us.

Shower area and bathroom are a little on the smaller side for averaged sized Australians, although well appointed.

The staff cared for us very well and although professional made us feel like family. Daily housekeeping. Breakfast included where Roshan and Shankar particularly looked after our needs. Restaurant on site with reasonably priced very good food. The poolside and gardens were great for relaxing. It was in walking distance of Thamel and half an hour's car drive from airport. The air-conditioning in the room kept you comfortable and the WiFi signal was good.

Nothing ut was great being in a palace.

Hotel posizionato leggermente fuori dal centro negralgico, quindi tranquillo. Camere e disponibilità ottima, piscina e giardino rigeneranti, colazione buona con prodotti vari. Cena non provata. Ci vuole una bella passeggiata per arrivare in centro . Taxi sempre disponibili all' esterno.
