We did NOT know we were getting an owners condo, decorated by themselves. Booking through Expedia, this was NOT specified. Our first place, we called it grandma's house. It was everything that you'd expect to see in your great grandma's house, dumped off into the living space. There was even a sewing machine in our room! We booked it as a romantic getaway...my husband said he didn't know if he could be romantic in his grandma's house, lol. We ended up getting a person's different living space...it was better...at least it moved up to the 90s. However, with us not knowing what we were getting into, our whole trip was really off...keep that in mind when you stay here...you should know the rooms you are getting...

"Nice weekend away. "

A good stay. Nice place in mostly good shape. Our sink was slow and the thermostat didn't seem to work (it stayed hot no matter where we set it). Also, breakfast service was a bit slow but the food was good. Kids loved the pool. Close to downtown Galena. Nice trails for hiking and very scenic. Overall a good stay if not flawless.

I did not like when you come off route 20 onto Eagle Ridge Drive heading to resort How really really Dark it was.. no lights at all had to drive with high beams on the entire time. Thank God I remembered earlier how to go but I still drive extremely slow

"Wine Lovers weekend "

Our stay was very nice. Everyone was so pleasant and accommodating. My only complaint would be more shuttle times on busy days in Galena. Not enough parking in town
