Eagle Ridge Resort and Spa

Beautiful setting! Room was nicely decorated. Seemed updated. It was zero-subzero temps outside and room was VERY drafty and cold. Lobby was nice with a big fireplace which was very cozy. Sunday breakfast was very good!

Loved the view from our room. Had a lake view. Food at the property was amazing. Home cooked and reasonable priced. Front desk personnel was very friendly and helpful. Definitely be back maybe in the spring or fall.

I love Galena and the surroundings of the resort. We loved our stay. The staff is superb and the one that really makes the difference. The resort if great. the bathroom in our room could need an upgrade but overall it was great.

The absolute only thing that was a little troublesome was the lock on our sliding glass door did not lock. We reported it to the front desk and they said someone would come up to take a look at it. We never got an update and it never got fixed. The actual latch on the sliding glass door appeared to latch but if you pulled hard on the handle the door still slid open :(

The property was beautiful and the hotel amenities were great. We were just OK with the room itself, other than the balcony overlooking Lake Galena. That was breathtaking. With Eagle Ridge, I guess I expected something more polished for the room. We did not have any heat, they came and took out the wall unit, wheeled it away and put in a new one. I’m glad it was an easy fix, just kind of surprised at the whole thing. Overall, we went there to get away and decompress and that’s what we did.

Staff very helpful with restaurant recommendations . Spa staff Pamela went out of her way to help with a sore toe . Shower a little small and closet door missing which ruined the overall appearance of room

The area of Eagle Ridge is lovely and I am confident that many of the rentals are nice as we have rented houses in the past that were lovely. We stayed in a golf villa and for the price, I was very surprised by how dated/worn/old the furnishing were in the unit.

Very nice, but world’s smallest bathroom-had to step into the shower to close the door.

A bit of an issue with the check in experience, but was readily rectified. The rooms are okay, getting a bit long in the tooth. Bathroom had no ceiling fan, so no way to ventilate when showering. Otherwise, not too bad, not too good. Just a regular place to stay.
