Baymont by Wyndham Lakeland

It was right off the highway after sitting in 4 hours of stand still traffic because of a sinkhole it looked ok at night

I didn’t like the fact that a Wyndham representative hasn’t been to this property to see how it is mismanage dirty and not this property the windows looked like they clean them With a dirty rag this was noticed at we were checking out. Employees do not take pride in their work. furniture was broken paint all over the phone toilet seat and chairs tv stand was broken Thank god I had Lysol Front desk looked at me when I expressed my concerns nothing handed my receipt turned her head I hope Wyndham properties get this message and addresses my complaints

The location to the RP Funding Center was nice.

The rooms were dirty. The floor was sticky with what smelled like straight Fabuloso. The sink was painted white with in typical "landlord upgrade" fashion but something stuck to that paint at some point and ripped part of the pant up. There was hair all over the shower and floor. We checked in with 4 people (2 kids, 2 adults) and only had 2 towels. When we went to the desk to get 2 more, the lady rudely said "laundry closes at 5!" We had to go back and forth with her just to get her to give us 2 more towels. We will not stay here again- especially for $170 a night!

I loved the fact that there was somebody at the front desk too welcome us after 1:00 AM and check us in. They provided us with a bottle of water. I did appreciate that I found clean towels to take a shower although there was almost no soap or shampoo in the shower.

Talking about the free Breakfast, I would never call Slices of bread with coffee breakfast. Breakfast should include some fruit, oatmeal, eggs, etc... I asked for some cream cheese and the lady said: "There is none". At least, she did not lie. Talking about the housekeeping, there was no room service at all. Request for clean sheet was denied. It was only when I came back in the evening that someone from the front desk gave me some soap in a plastic cup too take a shower. Rust was all over the place. Talking about the most important part of a Hotel room: "the comfort to sleep". I need a dark room to sleep. Unfortunately, we had to deal with a bright light throughout the night as there was no shade in the room. They let people smoke right at the entrance door of the hotel, which is not good for asthmatic people like me. Additionally, there was no ironer or shower cap in the room.

It had roaches. The mattresses need to be replaced, they were stained and absolutely disgusting. The cleanliness of the room was awful. Hotel reeked of weed. Saturday night the staff allowed a huge group of people to hang out in front of the lobby doors. Made walking in by yourself extremely uncomfortable.
