Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang

Overall, the resort and and services were excellent. The only complaint we had was the the wifi did not work while we in our room. It worked while we were in the hallway but not in our room. This was annoying especially because we had no other way to contact family. The amusement park and pool were definitely highlights of the stay

The room we were given did not accommodate us as they expected that 11 year old would sleep with parents and 14 year old, over 6ft, would sleep in trundle. We were given an option to upgrade to a bigger room with 2 trundles where we wouldn't have been able to do anything but sleep as the beds took all of the room .Eventually we had to upgrade to a family room with king and king single with a trundle brought in at a substantially extra cost. From woe to go this took us nearly 5 hours after arrival. Very disappointed to say the least. When i explained that expedia had recommended this room for us the front desk said that i should contact them. Pretty difficult when you are away from home.

Wish the Wifi was better in the hotel rooms and throughout the whole facilities. They also didn't allow men to wear sleeveless shirts into their restaurants, which we thought was a bit strange seeing as this was a beach resort and the restaurant was right next to the pool on a hot day.

Free Ferry Service to and from the mainland Nha Trang is great --every 30 minutes for 24 hours. However, I did check the provided life jackets under the seats. Not enough it seems, only 1 for every 3 people. I've checked this for several trips of mine since I was traveling with my family and 4 month old baby, and safety is very important. This is an area for improvement for the resort, quite important since this is a safety issue. Other than that, great resort facilities and staff.

Sadly because of the Typhoon we could not arrive at the resort until 2 days later which meant we did not get an opportunity to fully enjoy our stay saying that however the resort organised for alternative accommodation ( which was just lovely) . The resort staff was very helpful and did their best considering the situation. The food was lovely and beautifully presented . We will definitely be going back when circumstances hopefully are better .

Check in @ check out we're efficient. Initially wasn't so happy that Ocean View connecting rooms were on second floor, with wall instead of railing at front & trees grown up obstructing view. Although disappointed I chose not to complain, however thru a check in review the hotel became aware of our disappointment on the 2nd day & approached us to move us to the 4th floor with balcony railings & a great view - apology cards & fruit platters were left in our new rooms also. All staff we came in to contact with were very kind and helpful! The resort is well equipped & well maintained. It is a shame that most main meal food options are buffet style, but the free large speed boat that runs to & from Nha Trang on every half hour day & night is fabulous & allows you to have a meal on the mainland whenever you wish. Vinpearl Waterpark, Ferris Wheel & Cable Car were high lights for us & our children aged 12 & 14 & made it a worthwhile spot for a fun & relaxing break at the end of a Vietnam sightseeing holiday.

We got an upgraded room with a terrific view of the pool and ocean.

Staff is incredible good and facilities at the hotel and area is very good, yet food is not up to the standard or a 5 star resort and the beach condition leave a lot of room for improvement. Every day an ugly boat comes and take a long time by the perimeter of the property, plus the waters at the beach are cover with trash etc plastic bags, bottle caps and good at all

The hotel is perfectly located in the island with ease of transfer to mainland via ferry. The hotel provides shuttle service to any place in the island. The beach, pool, kid's corner, breakfast and gym is the best. You can stay in the island for a week. So enjoyable! What I love the most is the VIP treatment and priority given to guests when at the park. We need not line up to ride the cable car. They gave us Vin ID card upon check out so we can get the perks of being a member. My husband works in Ho Chi Minh and me and my family were on a vacation from Phils.

The checking took 1.5 hours, which was to long for us.
