Price

Distance to airport was farther than advertised. Also the restaurant was non existent. The pool was not heated and the hot tub was closed. Breakfast was lacking and late.

"Not what we expected and won't stay again"

The location was close enough to the Allstate Arena to make sense. The restaurant across the street was the best part of our stay.

There was no breakfast. They have no working hot tub (the REASON I booked here, and took my business from another local hotel). The shower was four slick sides with no shelves even for my face wash. The towels are cheap as well as the bedding. Worst of all, the AC does not work in the room we were given. They sent a maintenance person to check who said "only lower it a few degrees at a time". We were sweating, as we sat still. We bought a fan. We complained. They offered to move us at 10pm at night. The next day, the air worked, but they must have turned it off during the day, resulting in two hot nights. They comped me one night because they said they offered a solution (moving rooms at 10pm).

"Nice quick stay"

Very clean hotel. The happy hour was a plus. The location from the city was a bit far but thankfully we rented a car. It was fine for a quick trip and a place to sleep and shower.

It took exceptionally long for the hotel shuttle to arrive to pick up our family of 5 traveling with two young children. We had to keep calling the hotel for status updates. It was nearly an hour before it arrived. Be careful that you don't get on the Shiller Park Sheraton Four Points shuttle. Their driver did not state which hotel he was from. I happened to ask just before we were on our way to the wrong hotel. The Mt. Prospect staff was pleasant and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Expensive. Coffee pot in room but no coffee. Bar not stocked so no standard drinks. Airport shuttle small bus and fills up and only runs every hour and 20 minutes from airport. Of full bus you have an hour wait and can be an hour wait for airport pickup. No breakfast. Rooms clean and nice.
