"Good room, pool closed, breakfast mailed in."

The room was fine. We specifically wanted to use the pool. When we got there around 5pm it was closed, but we were assured it would be open at 5:30 the next morning. It wasn't, and the overnight staff didn't know why. When the manager came in he removed the closed signs and let us into the pool. The pool was clean and not overly chlorinated. The manager offered us a free breakfast at compensation for our inconvenience. It was a microwaved bacon and egg sandwich. I'm sure glad I didn't pay $30 for that breakfast.

"Could not check in at 4, finally got in at 5:30"

Really the worst check in experience we have had in years. Needed to come back twice as the room was not ready. Both the person at the desk and the manager were dismissive of the room not being ready. No coupon for the restaurant etc. to make thinks right. I told them they would never see us again and we won’t be back.

Good, but limited options.

Kitchen staff were all indifferent. Not happy to be at work. More interested in chatting with each other or being on their phones rather than attending to the hotel guests.

"Not a great experience, overall."

Staff was nice, but when I reported my leaking window and resulting wet carpet, it was ignored. I could hear the rain dripping g on the carpet. Room smelled very damp and musty for the two days we were there. Hotel is too expensive for condition. Bistro staff were great, but food is limited and overpriced. Location was the best part of our stay. We were close to campus and airport.
