The location is what attracted me to the hotel

I stayed there two nights. The first night I was woken by plumbing, ie persons in the room above me were using the toilet but it sounded like they were in my room. The second night I had a similar experience. I was woken by the sound of footsteps in my room. In fact, it was someone walking around the room above me. In this instance, I woke in fright and it took a few minutes for my heart rate to subside.
