Fantastic location with lovely staff and amenities

Lovely place to stay just not a lot of parking

Stayed here a few times - always brilliant. On this occasion food service was very slow (1hr from ordering to arriving) even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Great place, great hotel, lovely pool and friendly staff.

Unforgettable stay, l will surely come back again if time allows.

We were fortunate enough to win afternoon tea for our family in a competition and having seen this hotel advertised for a long while we couldn’t wait to visit and have a nose around. First impressions are parking, this can be a problem and this was out of season late September, there is a public car park not too far a walk away though so this issue was quickly alleviated. The hotel is so family oriented it’s fab! The soft play area just off of the restaurant is well thought and provided us we a peaceful(ish) few moments to soak up the view. The views are just fantastic, Fistral beach can’t be beaten one of our favourites. The staff were friendly and the afternoon tea options were enjoyable, a lovely idea that they offer a children’s option and that this was tailored very well to most children’s needs. On our way out we noticed a bucket and space library so children could borrow whatever they’d like to walk down and use at the beach, a great idea! They also had a swimming pool and a cinema room what a perfect set up for families. We would definitely recommend and maybe even love to try and stay here ourselves one day if they cater for a larger family!

The bunk bed was so creepy my son and daughter wouldn’t sleep in it as hear it it breaking. All 4 of us slept in a double bed.

The hotel didn't have the lifts working had to walk all to the second floor with kids and luggage. Didnt have the wifi working or the phones Parking was the main issue, paid for two nights parking but was told someone else took so unable to provide any solution. Breakfast is basic. Housekeeping staffs are polite and helpful.

We stayed here for 3 nights while hiking the Southwest Coastal Path. The first staff person we met at check in was so kind and positive. What a great start to our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Dinner was lovely as we looked out over the bay and watched the surfers and our food was delicious. Highlight the mussels. Yum! Breakfasts were fabulous as well. A wonderful stay.

The Restaurant staff in the evening acted as if ours and other customers presence was an inconvenience. It took 10 minutes to be seated in a half empty room, then a further 10 minutes before being asked for drinks which we were never given a drinks menu. A further 10 minutes after that we were then asked for drinks again and we had decided food so ordered food. The food came out in reasonable time but still no drinks for 5 minutes after food had arrived. Food was good but the service ruined the dining experience. The room we had was fine but the noise outside of the rooms was definitely known. At about 11pm the people staying above arrived back and you could hear them having a shower right above our heads with the water hitting the bottom of the bath. Kids being told off outside our room at 6am trying to open our room door. With the beds not being the comfiest either it was a sleepless night really. Parking outside is minimal and you have to park out on the road trying to get a space while the general public want the spaces too. Had to wait around 20 minutes for a space to become available. It’s a shame really because what was supposed to be a relaxing night away was not really that pleasant.
