ibis Chesterfield Centre – Market Town

A very nice, warm welcome from the gentleman on the reception when checking me in!! Ran through everything even though I've been here many times (not a bad thing!!)

Very clean & comfy - would stay again

For the price I paid, the room was clean, breakfast was fine, and the staff were great!

The location, if you are not driving. To walk to the main town centre, you have to negotiate a very busy large roundabout. There is a ‘pathway’, across the main road, but if you suffer from vertigo, it’s awful. If you don’t, it’s a bit of a longer walk but great, once in Chesterfield main centre. Good bus services to get to the Peaks. Chesterfield train station is further away from this hotel than you think, especially with the roundabout negotiating with bags😂

La stanza era spaziosa

Praticamente impossibile raggiungerla a piedi per via della posizione, non sono previsti passaggi pedonali e per questa ragione al nostro arrivo seppur vicina alla stazione dei pullman sono stata costretta a chinare un uber perché l’attraversamento con le valigie era veramente pericoloso oltre che impossibile per l’assenza di un varco adeguato

Position of hotel is a bit awkward as getting across the main road isn't much fun. Hotel itself is absolutely fine

Room was very clean, plenty of choice for continental and traditional breakfast. Location was excellent ,close to shops and tourist venues.

The hotel is situated on a very busy 24 hour, and ,noisy roundabout. On the hottest nights the windows had to be closed. No air conditioning in the room althogh a fan was supplied the room was very hot and made sleep almost impossible.
