"Not the best place we've stayed at"

Great location, just off the motorway, but also central to town.

The hotel is run down & needs refurbished. We had 33-degree weather, and with only a small portable fan, it just wasn't comfortable. With the hotel being on a busy roundabout, it wasn't practical to have the window open. Also, there is no fan in the bathroom, so Steam from the shower had nowhere to escape, except the bedroom. We left after 1 night, and we were grateful we were able to get a refund for the 2nd night.

I think the location is perfect, the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Lovely size room and brilliant shower.

There is no information in the room about what is available for food or times available. The windows were great because you can open them widely, but they do not keep the traffic noise out at night.

We liked the spacious, air conditioned dining/lounge area -and finished our evenings there, chatting and having a drink.Room fans are a good idea! Lovely, helpful and friendly staff.
