Mystic Marriott Hotel and Spa

The room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The dining was top notch. We really enjoyed the food.

Quick check in, friendly & helpful staff . The room was comfortable , clean and spacious . We did not visit the dining but the pool area was perfect for our little ones. The water was warm, it was not crowded and there was a nice outdoor seating area to dry off after . The only complaint was concerige. There is only 1 staff available so we waited a very long time to get assistance with bags checking out.

We arrived early for check in, exhausted from an early morning flight into HPN. While the room wasn’t ready we were able to enjoy the spa on site including pool, relaxation room, stream and sauna with the stay. It was a nice feature that elevated my rating. The hotel itself needs an overhaul. I had to call down for a luggage rack, new iron and ironing board cover. The safe was locked at check in so valuables couldn’t be secured. We of course didn’t discover this until we were ready to leave so I just left the dnd sign on the door and skipped room service that day instead of the hassle of calling the front desk again. The towels are hit or miss, the room was dark, windows need cleaning. It is a 3 star Marriott in a peaceful, convenient location that was suitable for the no fuss stay I was on with family. If you aren’t picky or can overlook lack of usual Marriott details like robes, in room coffee maker toiletries like qtips, cotton balls etc you’ll be fine. Apparently next year the hotel is being remodeled…it’s definitely ready for some TLC.

The hotel was stunningly elegant, the look of the room. It was really well laid out, really top notch, first class. We liked that there was a pool for swimming. The outside of the building is stunning,beautiful, gorgeous. Great views nearby of nature. Great location, not too far from the Mystic Aquarium and other attractions.

There was peeling paint on the roof above the pool. The mattresses were a little lumpy, there were a couple of brown stains on the sheets.Those things could use some updating. The most egregious thing that really infuriated me was when we had dinner in the dining room and we informed our server and the dining room manager of my son's food allergies, we specifically said dairy, including cheese and not four minutes later, the waitress nonchalantly brought out a cheeseburger, which was clearly dripping with strips of cheese that were hanging out the sides. So the manager, the waitress and the cook, who was allegedly told of the allergies, all did it wrong. That experience really mared our whole stay and I was completely turned off of the place after that. How can some staff of a hotel disrespect someone's allergies to food when they're a food service as part of their business, they blatantly do the opposite of what people tell them? This can be a life threatening situation. I am absolutely mortified.

Helles und komfortables Zimmer. Es war sauber. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut. Freundliches Personal.

Location, clean, modern

Room lighting was weird - nighttime options were either bright light or no light. No nightlight in bathroom. Translucent door meant that only option was to turn on the one light switch in bathroom which illuminated the whole room at night, or go with total darkness. Need to bring own flashlight or something. Added Destination charges for a hotel that isn’t a destination and has no special amenities like a beach or a special pool is a rip off.
