ibis Bradford Shipley

Fabulous location on the side of the Leeds to Liverpool canal. Very quiet and comfortable. Was within a short easy walk into Shipley and Saltaire.

Nothing to dislike

Food was terrible.

So close to Saltaire and close to the canal

It actually backs onto the canal which is lovely but building didn’t make the most of the water view - rather building just looked out onto the car park. Also no air conditioning so room a bit hot

Good location

Lack of electricity sockets. Room was a little run down.

This was our umpteenth visit, friendly staff always bubbly and helpful . It’s starting to look a bit rundown, rooms comfortable and clean and service great as usual. Sadly it will cease to be part of the ibis group in August. We will see who takes it over and decide if we still stay there in future.

Rooms clean and tidy

We booked 4 rooms through Booking .com for family some of whom had travelled from Australia for a family reunion with relatives who lived near to the hotel. 2 of our family arrived at the hotel shortly before us and as I had done the booking for all of us they checked in before we arrived there. Our booking with Booking.com stated the price per room would be £83 which included breakfast. Our two early arrivals were charged £93. On querying this when I arrived there I was told to take the matter up with Booking. com. None of our other family were charged this amount. after some arguing the recepsionist said she would "sort it:. Now 5 days later it still hasn,t been "sorted". The Australian family return to Australia on Saturday so time is running out. Can you help before I put this on social media. I know £10 is only a small amount to complain about but this could happen again with people booking with Booking.com. Not good!
