Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bethel/Danbury

for breakfast there was no coffee.

The room was clean and in good order. The area seemed safe for parking. Heading east in the AM kept us out of Danbury traffic.

I am not sure if the loud morning voices were from the next room, hallway or breakfast area but did they think everyone should be awake at 6:30? As said before it is a subpar breakfast.

Location. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Very clean and super quiet even with it nearly filled to capacity.

no elevator to get to second floor. did not realize that when it said access to a fitness center at the fitness center was 10 minutes away off site. came down to breakfast at 9:00 a.m. with nothing for my wife to eat except Cheerios ( gluten-free ). waffle mix empty. coffee empty.

The location is great- easy on off to/from I-84. The hotel looks appealing from the curb, and the rooms are really quite nice- comfortable beds, body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided in dispensers in the bathroom and plenty of towels, and wi-fi, TV, microwave and fridge in the room. The ground floor rooms in the front have a huge window with a window seat- it's a nice touch. With Wyndham Rewards it was super affordable, especially for two people staying in the same room, and even though it is on a road with a lot of traffic we didn't hear a lot of noise at night. Also, this time I wasn't travelling with the dog, but being pet friendly or not can be a deal breaker. I have stayed there many times with the dog and it's always fine- and there is a park you can drive to in about 5 minutes for a walk- which is good because there aren't a lot of sidewalks on the streets near the hotel. And as far as nearby places to eat you couldn't ask for anything better- the diner is literally a block down across the street (the most amazing fajitas ever and great salads and fries), and the Lebanese restaurant is right next door- also amazing food and the owner is super nice.

The location and parking are fine.

The room was very noisy and better sound proofing would help. We could not shut the bathroom fan off and it was very loud.
