Sonesta ES Suites Fort Lauderdale Plantation

Nice building. Built in a horseshoe shape with a green courtyard. Fence around the pool. Christmas tree at the reception. Still felt like office corridors. The rooms are a bit worn but spacious.

It is not stated in the description that the apt is located on the ground floor. We tried to change to something smaller, "up from te ground", Plenty of families that could use more space. We had two bedrooms two bathrooms and a livingroom for two persons! We wanted to reduce the number of nights. The woman at the reception (from Canada) asked us why and accepted our cause. She promised us that Sonesta released the payment for night two. We never received the money from booking. Windows in hotels in general in this area, cant be opened. Make sure you adore carpets.

Was not allowed in. Told booking was cancelled. Then said room available for $300.

Breakfast was ok although staff was not very friendly.

The staff definitely needs to improve. Everyone was kind of rude and not very friendly. Kim at the front desk was the worse one. She rally was rude toward my wife when she started asking some questions.

Excellent front desk service Very good breakfast Buffett and great pool facilities. Laundry room was also well equipped
