Beds and air con and food. Staff were really friendly

We had a disabled room. The wall was very plain could do with a nice photo or picture on the wall. We had a loud bang on the door at 3am which woke us up and scared me I rang the reception and they reassured me they would investigate and check cctv. That helped me get back to sleep .

The rooms for the price we paid they were very basic and facilities were not good the kettle had no plug nearby too plug it in I had too boil the kettle on the bed?? Coffee milk and sugar literally one sachet of each and there was two of us reception staff very rude

Good location. A short walk to the dock on day two which is a nice area with bars and cafes etc.

I don't like the fact that most hotels now charge to park. So an extra £11 on top plus an extra £2.40 local charge for all Liverpool hotel rooms. There weren't enough staff so they had to keep moving between the bar and reception. Also, we were sitting down to eat when a coach party arrived and they stood right next to us, queueing for their room cards from their guide. Not very polite. One woman even said we 'chose the wrong' seats rather than standing away from people trying to eat. The staff were polite but didn't do any more than just give the basic information. It wasn't a very 'warm' invite or impression.

Room smelt of smoke on arrival strong smell of carpet glue or something similar on the way to the room. Breakfast was very underwhelming bacon very fatty and sausage dry.
