"Poor customer service and old room"

2.0

Poor customer service - a lady named Nydia, served me while check in. There was an issue for my AMEX card transaction and I told her that do you have any alternative way. The way that she approach me was rude in term of her tone and she was trying to show her face to me. I told her that this is not the kind of customer service for so called 5 stars hotel have. However, she said to me that this is the way that she treats her customer always and doesn’t know why I complained about her attitude. Well, what I can said is poor customer and please, whoever going to book this hotel, you have to think twice. Hotel room - poor room ventilation, smoking smell, poor lighting and not suitable for work although the toilet is clean and bright and the room is huge.

The Best part of our Hotel experience was the Executive Floor person named Jovana! She not only helped us make arrangements for plans, but was able to communicate! The Indian Porter was also Extremely Helpful! The Front desk personnel could not speak any English which mad it VERY DIFFICULT!

"A Lovely Traditional Hotel!"

10.0

The Presidential Beijing is a traditional hotel near the subway. In a hood neighborhood. Although we had some language barriers, the staff made every effort to be helpful and accommodating. The lobby is beautiful and we enjoyed cocktails there each evening! Our room with a king size bed was very large and well furnished. The bathroom is slightly dated and needed some refreshing but it was clean and well supplied. Our only challenge was that the AC had not yet been turned on for the season. Upon request we were provided a fan which saved the day - and out sleep. Overall, this hotel is beautiful and very reasonable for such great accomodations in a wonderful city. We would stay again and recommend this place to all travelers.

"Overall, a good stay"

8.0

Was in Beijing for 3 days for business meetings. It's a nice, well-decorated hotel, and the rooms are large. Bathrooms need some updating, however. And the restaurant space is very small for the size of the hotel. The breakfast buffet is quite good, but I had to wait long periods for a seat (much less table) to open up. It's not at the standard of the international luxury hotels, but it's quite good and is very reasonably priced.

"Nice Hotel"

8.0

We stayed here as part of a Silk Holidays tour. The hotel is well suited to Western tourists with modern amenities. There was a bit of a sink and shower drainage problem in our room, but it was tolerable. I appreciated that there was an indoor pool and very large at that. Chinese was no problem for us as our guide could translate as needed. The free WiFi was very frustrating as it was at all places we stayed. Very spotty and many applications simply refuse to function. You have to be prepared to go through some withdrawal if you don't have a data plan.
