The hotel is lovely.

I specifically paid for a suite with a pull-out bed. Ours did not. My kids had to sleep on the floor.

Go to Deer Valley instead. My and my wife's family have been coming here since it opened. Before Grand America our families stayed at Little America countless times. Holidays and special occasions spent here. The service has declined drastically but one experience was so bizarre. We booked for the family to stay during a software conference I was attending. My wife and I were having coffee and ice cream in the lobby minding our own business. There was some buzz about a sports team staying at the hotel and people outside waiting. Some random person asked me if they'd come by yet? Us being unaware of what was going on except for the people outside, said we're just having ice cream and seeing what's going on. A security guard Taylor approached us and asked if we were staying at the hotel? I replied yes. He asked what room, I told him. I was uncomfortable and felt awkward by the question but I get it, security, sports team. The weird part was, this security guard was visible nervous, maybe brand new, REPEATEDLY asked if we were hotel guests despite me saying yes and telling him our room, then went on and on about not approaching the team and talking about his favorite players. I told him he'd better watch my wife, she's a wild one, her national public radio shirt screams unhinged sports fan. We had no idea what he was talking about. Trying to make the situation less awkward my wife spoke up and said we don't care about the sports team and she left. I finished my ice cream and coffee and checked emails and messages while people gawked and stared at the team. I didn't see or hear anyone else get questioned once, let alone over and over again. I encourage you Grand America to train some sort of protocol, maybe talk to the people who work here about how to handle situations before sticking them in a suit and sending them to wander the hotel. My wife misplaced some prescription sunglasses over our stay, front desk agents were chatting with each other and seemed annoyed when I approached to ask about lost and found. I was directed to a phone to call security, I waited on hold for a long time, I finally explained and said the room number and about the sunglasses being lost, NOPE NOTHING REPORTED, didn't bother to ask contact info, follow up for if they were turned in, typical things that upscale hotels, people who care, do. We tracked them down ourselves, fortunately. I had filled out a contact request online myself knowing security wouldn't be any help from my call. Someone reached after we had found them which was nice. Having to ask repeatedly for items already ordered in a restaurant is for Denny's. On arrival valet went over parking prices, I said I'd be leaving shortly and was just dropping off my wife, kids and luggage, the boy seemed confused and we needed to go, I gave him $40 to cover it and tip to take a cart of luggage to the room. I never saw him again but was charged additionally for the parking and had to dispute at checkout. I hope he shared with the guy who actually brought the luggage up to the room.
