Days Inn by Wyndham Louisburg

Wasn’t able to locate ppl working up front to check in when we got there. Only have stairs to get to second floor with all our bags. Once in room we had no towels or washcloths. Told front seat and her only reply was that’s weird. For 4 guest she gave me three sets and towels and cloths. We used side door to return after dinner and door was not locked, was being held open by a rock in door. So ppl could come and go as they pleased. Also the smell of weed filled stairs and hallway.

There was no breakfast. When we asked at check in she said we got cereal.

There was no hot water at first, but morning time we didn’t have any water. The pipes busted so they had water coming from the ceiling. The fire alarm kept going off because of the busted pipes.

The was not hot water then they had a leak and cut the water off so the two days I was there we had no water at all and they kept saying they were working on it but never fixed it we had to leave the hotel to take showers

This old runs down hotel is nasty, horribly loud, uncomfortable beds, probably serves as a brothel and drug distribution place. There are people roaming the trash littered parking lot checking for unlocked cars.

There was a burned cigarette in our room, the shower curtain was dirty, and we woke up to no running water in the building. There was only one employee that was new and wasn't sure how to handle situations (not her fault).

At arrival there was no running water. After a couple of hours it was fixed. This was probably a one off problem. But there was no WiFi signal and I bet that is ongoing. The fixtures in the bathroom were malfunctioning

My son was in the local hospital and when I saw the less than favorable reviews for this property I hesitated to give it a try. I decided to stay there anyway because of the convenience. I am very happy that I did! It definitely met all of my needs. I found the king sized bed to be very comfortable with very soft white sheets. The wifi was fast and connected easily. There was a nice Samsung flat screen tv, refrigerator, blowdryer, iron, small coffee maker, and ironing board. I liked the decor of the room, including the faux wood floors. My room was clean and free of any odors. The girl working the front desk, and the girl cleaning the rooms, were both really nice and made me feel welcome. I stayed during the week and found it to be very quiet. I think they are really trying to turn this place around and I am very glad that I gave it a shot.
