Days Inn by Wyndham Louisburg

Wyndham should be ashamed to have their name associated with this place (Days Inn). I’ve stayed several places over the years that were bad, but this place takes the cake! First, there is NO ONE in the lobby. I tried to check in but could not find anyone! I rang the bell several times, called out Hello several times then finally noticed a sign with a phone number to call. A man answered and after about 10 minutes he showed up to check me in. The lobby doors are left unlocked and the lobby is unattended which is a tremendous safety issue for the customers. Each time I’ve been to the lobby there was no employee in sight. Second, the non smoking room smells like a tobacco bar. The towels and linens looked as if they were 20 years old. So far I’ve noticed no bed bugs as mentioned in other reviews. Third, there are no cups/glasses of any kind in this room. I went to the lobby after dark and couldn’t find them there either. Again, no employee in sight. Fourth, I left for the day and came back into the room later in the evening and it was found just as I left it. The bed was unmade and nothing else was attended to. Fifth, the bathtub looks filthy and there is no additional toilet paper other than the partial roll found upon arrival. Finally, for $90 a night this place sucks! You can probably spend less somewhere else and get much better accommodations.

Cockroach infestation

I will start with the good. The bed was clean and the refrigerator worked. It was billed as a Deluxe Studio Suite there was no microwave, one love seat with 2 different cushions, there was a chair that didn't have a back cushion. If you turned the shower knob too far in the on direction it went off. I had to go to the laundry to get clean towels.The only time there was anyone at the front desk was at check in and check out and we were there for 2 days.

I would never stay here again! The room had black mold on the ceiling from a previous water leak. The towels were all stained. The water wouldn’t get hot in the shower. Bugs in the bathroom. The sheets were stained. If there was another hotel available around I would have gladly paid to not stay here.

For a funeral

No one was there at Check-in. I had to call a number for someone to arrive to check me in. It took at least 20 minutes to get in my room. One of the towels was so nasty and old, I threw it away. Ice machine was out of order. Possibly the worst Wyndham hotel on the map.

This hotel is dirty, dirty, dirty! The shower curtain had holes in it. The towels and washcloths were disgusting. You can see the dirt in them. House keeping never came around to pick up trash and give fresh towels. This place is trash.

Nice place and nice staff. But do ask for extra pillows and towels. And go in town for breakfast. The free breakfast was just coffee juice and some cookies.
