Nice easy check in and out. Comfortable rooms at reasonable rates

Desk help friendly, clean room with good size tv. Hot breakfast was good and employees were very helpful. exceptional pool and hot tub. hotel had alot of parking and close to local stores.

Wow, stayed at Rivers Edge Comfort Inn and gave it a 5, definitely different owners for sure. This is just an old run down property from the 80’s that needs serious updates but for a 2 star hotel what can i expect. I’m surprised people stay here but thought i’d check it out, the bathrooms are nasty and short curtain black at the bottom omg, but the room was ok, the front desk clerk was working an 18 hour shift but was nice. It’s just old and run down

The staff was rude- the hot tub was not working, the room had stains, the window curtains had rips, the vents had 4” of dust on them- looks like the room hasn’t had a good cleaning in years! There were maybe 10 cars only in the parking lot and it sounded like they put everyone right next to each other. The person above me was up the entire night- horrible stay I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone

09/13/24 - Room#106 - Booked this property thru Hotels.som for business meeting in Sandusky we didn't book Sandusky to be away from local tourist visiting Cedar Point. Upon check-in process went smoothly. the desk clerk who was foreign very nice man who checked us in and had us review the hotel property rules and extra $100 deposit information. The room a n/s handicaps access room was very clean and tidy, bathroom was also clean and well stock with shampoo and conditioner; we did notice the shower mat was dirty that was hanging on a rail in the shower, also the hand held shower head and assemble had a crack in it which meant you could only use the shower wand then leave it hanging down toward the floor. Other then that shower and tiles white as they can be, Water pressure hard and plenty of hot water on the days we were there. We did use the indoor heated pool which was awesome after driving from the airport. They had a jacuzzi/hot tub in the indoor pool area but the hot-tub jets did not work so no bubbles but it was plenty hot although. They had an incredible hot breakfast buffet with scrabbled eggs, sausage patties, crushed bacon and hash browns. They also had 4 types of juices orange, apple, cranberry and grape juice. They had 3 types of cold cereal; frosted flakes, shredded wheat, cinnamon toast crunch - also had my favorite hot large biscuits and sausage gravy, bagels, toast and fresh fruit on the buffet. The breakfast host/front desk clerk was a young man who was always working whether checking out guests and cleaning and restocking the items in the breakfast room. Outside of the property looked clean and free of debris, hallways looked clean and tidy. Hotel is right next door to a jiffy lube and down the street from Walmart. Plenty of parking and hotel has good wifi. Also secutiy camera's throuhout property. Overall a good quiet stay kinda wish the jets in the hot tub was working but that's ok, it was hot and refreshing after a workout in their gym and taking a few laps in their heated pool.

Stayed in room #106 for two (2) nights in a n/s access room. Room was very clean and so was the bathroom and well stocked with soap, shampoo and conditioner. Shower head was cracked and broken, kind of hard to take a shower though unless you used the hand held and shower bench. - Breakfast was the best with awesome coffee, toast, biscuits and gravy, waffles, bacon and sasage patties, juice, bagels, yogart. Breakfast host and front desk young man always stocking up breakfast bar and taking care of check-outs at the same time absolutely a super hero who can take on on multiple tasks. Property has indoor pool and hot tub but hot tub was hot and relaxing but no jets in the hot tub. Between staff and housekeeping a great team who were always aiming to please the guests. We enjoyed our stay and will tell our friends about our positive experience. Our room and bathroom really clean, well stocked and plenty of clean towels. My husband is wheel chair bound and everything was accessible from the doorways to the bathroom. Hotel looks as if has been remodeled lately and outside parking well lit and security camera's. Will defintely return in the future and met the property manager/owner very nice man who manages a great team of employee's at this Comfort Inn property.

The couple with us had to change rooms because there were bed bugs in the one first assigned to them. Being a weekend the breakfast seemed like it had just been warmed up for a couple days and the staff was kind of rude

The property was fllthy, there was mold growing in the air conditioner, water left in the ice bucket from the previous person. The walls and floors were covered with some foreign substance. Upon entering the room, the people above us were jumping on the floor, I requested the front desk ask them to stop, they did not. I booked the room for three nights and did not stay because the conditions were unsanitary.

I walked around my room without socks over night. The next morning in the shower the water ran black like I had been playing in the mud. Horrifying. The staff was wonderful, friendly and fun, but the place needs a good cleaning.
