Heard from the couple that we were meeting there two days before heading there that they received a call canceling the reservation due to the hotel shut down till Msy 4th. I called the hotel but they would not answer the phone. So I sent a message, they finally replied and said we are closed and if they had a phone number they would had called me. So why didn't they see it was through you and contacted you to get in touch with me! Very poor business ethics!

"Why didn't the hotel ask Booking.com to call and tell me the hotel couldn't accommodate us???"

No breakfast available

The entire hotel was closed and under repair. No one spoke English. Finally I found a cleaning lady who told me they didn't notify me because the hotel didn't have my phone number! Sure.
