Hilton Garden Inn Richmond Innsbrook

The availability of breakfast from 6-10 was nice.

Breakfast was very limited and not that appetizing. Very disappointed considering the cost.

The interior of the Garden had a worn look. The furniture covers were threadbare. The heating system in the lobby dining area was being repaired and it was uncomfortably hot in the common areas. The mattress was very uncomfortable and only 1 towel and washcloth were provided. To be fair, the front desk provided more towels when requested. The room itself had a tired look and a remodel is sorely needed.

Room was great size. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was kind and helpful. I needed a second key made.

The air/heat unit in room didn’t work. Room was stuffy. Location was odd to get to.

Super 8 provides a cleaner room. I arrived and the room I selected is not the room I got. I was put in a room with what looked like blood splatter on the wall, dust on every surface, and a ripped window screen. The room smelled musty. I asked to move rooms. Was moved into a room with no wash cloths and with mold all over the tub... I brought these concerns up to the front desk who put me on hold for minutes and did nothng... At the end of the stay, I didn't receive a "sorry", "please try us again", NOTHING! This property is run by what seems like a cash grab system where they take your money and provide you with dingy, moldy, blood splattered walls...

I stayed here a number of times in a matter of months on repeated trips to Richmond. As some have pointed out, the hotel is on the older side and a bit rough around the edges. However, the friendliness of the staff and the location more than makes up for any cosmetic shortcomings. It's a very busy hotel and I think they handle the business well. Just outside the back door is a lively dining complex with an extensive water feature. The rooms are large, comfortable, and clean.
