Best Western Charleston Inn

Lovely spacious clean comfortable room. Great staff and had a lovely time in the bar chatting with other guests

It was a shame that the pool was not available but there was one at the sister hotel nearby. Maintenance works were discreet

Breakfast was good.

The room smelled. Im pretty sure it was the carpet. I saw the hotel allowed dogs and I think it was the dogs that made it smell. as the room was clean.I asked to move rooms but they said there were no more rooms left for bookings.com

The location was very conveniently located to downtown. The bed was very comfortable and soft.

The TV was challenging to figure out without instructions.

The exterior paint colors, the pool, breakfast was pretty good, the staff was very friendly.

There was no drinking water (a water bottle fill station would be nice), there was mold in the bathroom especially around the tub, the rooms are in need of general maintenance/upgrading (cracked plaster, etc)

I arrived to find out the Wifi was down. Normally no big issue, but being I was there for work, it kind of was this time. Didn't offer any kind of solution or discount for the inconvenience. Front staff was anything but friendly.
