As a loyal and frequent Radisson guest, with great experiences in most all of their hotels, I found this stay very disappointing. The hotel did not provide the expected VIP membership benefits did not allow earlier check-in even though they where not busy, and initially placed me in a substandard room that was extremely hot and clearly not in proper working condition. The AC was failing, dirty and very noisy, the TV was broken and the fridge was not working either. Only after maintenance confirmed that the room was not usable and advised that I should be moved, I was transferred to a properly functioning room. This was especially disappointing because the website showed that plenty of rooms were still available. Even after this, the hotel still did not offer an upgrade to the highest available room category, although this is one of the main VIP benefits. Overall, this did not feel like the level of recognition or service recovery I would expect as a loyal high frequent guest.

Der Pool war super! Das Personal im Wellness und Restaurant Bereich auch aber die Rezeption na ja .

Die Minibar war in Zwei Zimmern defekt man wollte uns auch keinen Ersatz geben, Wenn dann Sonntags abends noch Temperaturen von 30 C sind und noch nicht mal die Bar auf hat das geht garnicht. Musste für Kaltgetränke zum Kiosk gehen.

Otele ulaşımı SBB gardan yaptık yaya olarak yakındı ama rotası zordu. Ama gara gitmek tramvayla kolay oldu. Otelin Basel ulaşım bileti vermesi çok güzeldi. Tüm konaklamamız boyunca toplu taşıma araçlarından ücretsiz yararlandık. Hatta gardan 50 nolu otobüsle havaalanına ücretsiz gittik. Oda çok geniş ve ferahtı.

Otelin en sıkıntılı yönü klimasıydı. Fancoil kullanılıyordu ve çok gürültülüydü. Kapatmak zorunda kaldık ve sıcak oldu doğal olarak. Otelde genelde sıcaktı. Soğutulmuyordu. Belki genel bir uygulamadır diye düşündük. Basel de her mağaza böyle sıcaktı.

A/C did not cool the room. We reported it and response was immediate but ineffective. The room stayed too hot to sleep in. Very disappointed. I have never paid so much for a room that was so uncomfortable.
