I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at the Delta Hotel. Upon entering the hotel for the first time, I was not greeted by the staff. Instead, the staff member I encountered immediately expressed concerns about potential noise complaints due to the children I was accompanying. This was disheartening, especially since I had already checked in prior to arriving at midnight and had booked two rooms specifically to accommodate our guests. The staff member engaged in a back-and-forth conversation about the possibility of security being called, implying that we might be forced to leave if a complaint arose. She instructed me to go to my room and stated that we should "hope" we don't get put out due to noise complaints, without giving us the opportunity to settle in. It felt as though I was judged based on stereotypes, and she assumed that the young men I was with did not have any parents present, without any basis for her assumption. Additionally, the staff member was quite rude and did not wear a name tag, which further contributed to the uncomfortable atmosphere. Moreover, a person approaching me who was impersonating security added to my sense of unease. I felt unsafe during my stay. Unfortunately, due to our schedule with games the next morning, I could not seek alternative accommodations for the night. I hope that you will take this feedback into consideration to improve future guest ….
