Had a great stay~ room and hotel decor is really nice and modern. They do serve Starbucks in the lobby which was nice, but not complimentary. The picture of the nice pantry on the hotels profile pic is a bit misleading; you have to be a platinum member to use it. No pool working either, said out of order but it looks like an awesome pool if they can get it in order. Outlet in bathroom was not working but that wasnt a big deal. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly and wonderful from the friendly ladies at front desk to Sir Wesley who ran the complimentary shuttle. Great time in Virginia, already planning our return.

I was in Norfolk for one night and stayed at the Delta Hotel due to its proximity to the airport. The reviews were pretty good so I figured I would stay. When I arrived the front desk receptionist was very nice and due to our room not being ready at the time she offered suggestions for lunch spots which we appreciated. We later checked in our room which was a suite. The room was fine, kind of sterile but seemed clean. The bedroom carpet was very dirty but we just made sure to always wear our slippers. There were some quirks about the room like the light switch to the bedroom was outside of the bedroom on the wall by the living room. The big shocker was when we woke up the next morning to find a cockroach on the wall in the bedroom. I alerted the front desk receptionist whose demeanor projected that didn’t seem to care at all but she did get the maintenance man to come to our room immediately. The maintenance man came to our room apologized and said that when the weather changes these things happen and that they spray each room weekly. He then attempted to kill the bug on the wall but it got away from him until ultimately he stomped it on the already dirty carpet. We then checked out and was offered to remove the $10 parking fee as compensation. The front desk receptionist shared that by their policy that’s all they can do to compensate us. I was given the GM’s contact info to which I have emailed twice with no response. Very unfortunate and will never stay at this property again.

We were quite disappointed in the hotel. When you walked in there was an overall odor and the odor was in the room as well. Our tub had a long black hair in it. Not everything was included. We went to get coffee and they changed us $12 for two coffees. If you are not a member nothing was included. We were surprised we were allowed to use the elevator. Will not stay there again.
