Ibis Lille Centre Gares

We stayed here two nights. Nice sized room, with air conditioning. Bed was comfortable. Free Wifi was excellent. The shower was good, but they only have a half glass wall in it, which means lots of water goes on the floor. Parking was a bit of a hassle, but useful - when you show up you pull up next to the front of the hotel where you take a ticket to be able to park in that zone for 20 mins. Then, after checking, you need to move your car down to their underground parking garage. There's a gate, and you have to use an intercom to tell them your room number to raise it. Very tight corners and parking spaces...not good for larger vehicles. Parking does cost extra. I would stay here again.

Very pleasant stay at this hotel in August. My wife and I arrived early and were pleased we could check in to our room right away with the help of a very helpful lady at reception. Clean and correct room, comfortable bed and a powerful shower. Super location right by the main stations and only a short walk into the city centre for bars, restaurants and shops.

Hotel was a bit tired but clean as it was only a short stopover it was all that was needed we had breakfast that was good. Free WIFI Only one thing I think is needed it's nice to make a drink when you first get up.

Hotel is very basic but sufficient for comfort. Location is good because it is right across gare lille flandres and a few minutes walk to lille europe and the old town.

Great location, short walk from Eurostar/TGV station and main line station for elsewhere, 5 minute walk from main shopping area, 10 minute from old town and new town bars and restaurants both. Friendly staff, great breakfast, basic but clean and comfortable rooms.

Very convenient location near to train stations (there are two stations...) and shopping centre. Great value. Very helpful and professional front desk staff. I think it is a non-smoking hotel, which is wonderful. The rooms are small, but perfect for tourists. Fantastic bed and linens, so comfortable. Fast free internet included. They have lockers in the lobby to store baggage if you need to travel after check-out time. Easy walk into the historic centre. Don't miss the memorial/monument at the citadel to the carrier pigeons of WW1. Unique, and touching. There are many IBIS-branded hotels in Lille, so be sure you have the right location noted before you book.

The hotel was fine and nothing special. My key card kept de-sensitizing, and they were very willing to fix it. It happened quite a few times, but they never asked for id. All I needed was the room number and the name on the room and sometimes not even that. It was convenient, but disconcerting.

Central, but room not too noisy. Helpful staff. Clean, comfortable.
