"DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL!!!!!"

We are here right now and disappointing doesn’t even cover it. By far the worse hotel we have stayed in. Rooms had mold in their curtains, no towels in the bathroom. Lamps with the light bulb falling off. The staff was mostly rude and no help at all. With a very few exceptions. The food is horrible. With a couple of hours with no open restaurants. No food service at the beach. They don’t even provide umbrellas! You have to pay for them from a different place. Thy also run out of towels for the pool and beach by 4pm! To get a reservation for a restaurant is impossible unless it’s after 8.30 pm. And they do nothing to help you with this issue. They advertise this as a 5 star hotel. I wouldn’t even give it one star. For a stay for over $1,000 a night the is was a complete rip off. It was our first time in Aruba. Complete failure. There is a much longer list of complaints. I would never ever come back here. The online pictures and descriptions on their website are a complete fraud. Hotel is absolutely outdated. The all inclusive concept is not what’s being offered here. At all. Lack of food options during many hours. The only good thing they have is the ocean and they can’t take credit for that! Do not come here!!!! They should actually pay people to stay at this place. Tried to cancel and go somewhere else but the penalty was one night stay, which was $1,100! A lot of money to be so unhappy here!

Lolio was delicious . Chef came out to make sure everything was ok. Amazing!!! Simeon was an excellent waitor and Roel took very good care of us. Mikael made delicious drinks . Great experience all a round!

"Loving Aruba"

All around great experience. Third year and this was the best so far. Specialty restaurants, like Mexican, Aruba seafood, Italian, and Japanese hibachi excellent. Lina in the Mexican restaurant has been there 27 years (looks young) service is exceptional. Doris in main bar is a love, remembers your preferences and is requested by all. Rooms large spacious. Well maintained property. Aruba is friendly and you always fell safe, welcome. No one is pushy, very considerate.

"Highly Disappointing Experience – Significant Service and Management Failures"

Barceló Aruba I recently stayed at the Barceló Aruba for a wedding celebration, and unfortunately, the experience was far from the high standard one expects from this brand or price point. While the location is beautiful, the operational failures and lack of accountability from management made for a stressful and disappointing stay. The main issues included: • Poor Communication: Throughout the stay, getting clear information or assistance from the staff was a constant struggle. • Management Apathy: When issues were brought to the attention of leadership, there was a distinct lack of urgency or desire to make things right. • Unmet Expectations: For an event as important as a wedding, the level of service was unacceptable. I attempted to resolve these issues directly with the hotel and through formal channels, but the management remained unhelpful. I would strongly advise travelers to look at other resorts on Palm Beach that prioritize guest satisfaction and professional service.
