Pet friendly but staff not keeping up cleaning carpets, windows had large cracks, toilet didn't flush well.

It was close to the highway and restaurants.

Sheets were soiled and had cigarette burns. Asked for clean sheets. After 1 1/2 hours went back down to the desk. Finally the office moved us to another room. There were homeless people hanging around the property. 248-865-4444

The first room we were assigned had blood on the sheets. Cigarette burns in the sheets, cigarette burns on the rim of the bathtub, overwhelming scent of smoke, nicotine stains on door and walls. The least problem was the shower not working. The second room we were assigned, not to be out done had the same fabulous odor, matching cigarette burns in the sheets and black mold growing on the bathroom wall. The shower, to its benefit had scalding hot water or freezing water, but seemed to have left all options in the middle in some other room. This went very well with the nicotine stains matching the other room in design. At least this room came with a phone and a dirty coffee maker, so I guess that is something. Worth an honorable mention is the tv which turned on only on full blast with no volume control and had to be unplugged to halt the cacophony.

Everyone and everything

We stayed 3 nights. The location is good. The bed was clean, the bathroom was clean. Front desk evening lady was exceptional. We don't require 5 star stays, saying that, the room/bathroom needs several repairs. There was a slight smoke smell to the room. We got a king suite and the couch needs to be tossed. We didn't even lay a coat on it. If your looking for a very budget place where the bed and bath are clean, this is it. If you are looking for higher quality accommodations, you need to look elsewhere.
