- Breakfast was great, good options for dietary and good view - Food from room service was tasty - The view was good from the room

- The price point of the 1 night accommodation, expectations were higher due to the price, unfortunately it was not met. - You have to book for the gym and spa - If you book a taxi, it should come on time as it did not pick us up on time as originally booked. - The beach club had no atmosphere, no great music - When we were greeted we were told to wait aside, and he never returned so we had to follow him up whether we could look around - Did not serve lunch at the pool until 1pm and we ordered prior, this did not pop up on the QR code when ordering - Room service QR code does not work either so you have to call reception and then they come and bring a paper menu - These might seem like minor things, but at a price point of $2000 AUD you expect these types of things.

A very beautiful, peaceful and welcoming oasis that is perfect if you want to rest, relax, be surrounded by picturesque views and be looked after by friendly, professional & attentive staff ... it was exactly what we needed and would highly recommend. Close enough with a gentle walk into the old town but you could also stay very comfortably put in the lovely and wonderfully designed hotel and it's out door areas - the pool area was spotless, never busy and the food at the al fresco bar tables for lunch was delicious & very reasonably priced. The terraced double beach beds, again never busy, nothing was too much trouble and the restaurant for lunch there (although pricier) was utterly delicious too! The piano bar at night had the most amazing pianist who delighted with his skilled, beautiful and very heartfelt playing ... everyone we encountered from the reception to all of the other areas of the resort we couldn't fault the service and attention to detail ... a gem of a place!

Text: Le Calette is a vast hotel complex situated on a hill above the sea, about 25 minutes walk from Cefalu. It consists of two parts: Le Calette N5 (which positions itself as a 5 start property - and merits each ray of these five starts largely!) and Le Calette Bay, a 4*, which is right next to it and shares all the facilities (the restaurant, the swimming pool, and, I assume, the beach - which was inaccessible during our stay in late April, as it is too early in the year and it was not open yet). We've spent 2 nights at Le Calette Bay (the 4* part of the property), and we loved it! We had a junior suite with a private terrace featuring a view of the little port and the bay. Although the room layout is somewhat questionable, meaning, the shower is separated from the toilet and washing basins, the room itself was spacious and clean, combining the traditional Sicilian style with cutting-edge facilities, such as a Smart TV where you could find all necessary information, from the room service menu to the messages from the reception. The pearl of the whole complex is the pool, which offers a fantastic view of the port, sunbeds and umbrellas, and a pool bar, where you can access the menu by scanning a QR code and order your drinks. Breakfast was delicious, various and excellent quality. All the staff of the complex, from receptionists to waiters and to massage lady, are smiling and friendly, everyone speaks English, some of the team members speak more languages, so there is no risk of communication gaps.
