Location was great, breakfast was good but especially liked the indoor pool for the kids.

Floors and walls are very thin. Leaning against the backboard of the bed can be heard in the next room. You can hear every step someone takes on the floor above you. Of course no one takes note of how their feet sound on the floor as they walk or don’t care and it makes for a very sleepless night. Plenty of places to eat around the area but if you’re looking for quiet, this is not your place. Also, the remote wasn’t even cleaned. All we want is a clean remote so we can sort of relax without grubby hand paws all over it. ☹️ This hotel also charged a 200$ fee on top of the regular rate for Valentine’s Day this year. I said I’d never stay here just for that reason, but business paid for my room, so I gave it a try. Hotel is clean. Website showed walk in showers but mine has a tub.

The first room we were in had ants. Like a whole bunch of ants. They were on the desk and TV desk. They were in the carpet and it was really gross. The next room we were given gad crumbs in the carpet, the refrigerator was dirty and there was hair in the bathroom floor. This room had clearly not been vacuumed. We were desperate to get to our event on time and didn’t have time to hassle again with switching rooms. Our event did not end until 12:30 am. We slept and got up and didn’t shower or unpack in the room fearing there would ants or other bugs since the room was not cleaned. Additionally we were trying to hurry and get out and the cleaning lady just came in. Didn’t knock or announce, just came in. I find this odd and not normal practice. We checked out at 8:30 am. Does she not have a list of rooms that are ready to be cleaned? For the price and status of staying at the holiday inn- this facility should be better.
