"The bed was nice, the rest was not"

The early morning manager was helpful and the bed was comfortable

No skillet or coffee machine in my kitchen. The refrigerator made a loud humming noise. The ac went out one of my days and construction was very disturbing.

Rooms were nice. Bed was nice.

Under MAJOR construction. Was loud and noisy. They also have a trolley system, and we booked 2 tickets for the concert and the trolley NEVER came. I emailed the email it said to and just got an error message in return. So, they made an extra $24.

"Condition of hotel was not worth the price."

Hotel was under construction, and we were not informed in any way prior to our reservation beginning. The sliding door to the closet was broken, there was window coverings for every single window, so there was absolutely no view or natural lighting. Often an hour before the breakfast would end there would be very limited options due to food running out and not refilling despite being considered a buffet. Was not worth the nearly $500 I paid for a two night stay.

"HOTEL IS VERY DATED"

We normally stay at Hampton Inn & Suites, but needed two bedrooms so chose Homewood. Upon arrival we were immediately disappointed - "popcorn" ceilings, chipped and outdate furniture, outlets so old things don't stay plugged in, etc. Workers were everywhere redoing the facade. The room appears clean, but conditioner container was empty. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. The positive is that guest services/reception were all very nice, and accomodating. Also, rooms are large and the bed is very comfortable. We invited friends to join us and I'm so embarrassed by the overall condition of the hotel. I wouldn't stay here again. It is not up to Hilton standards.
