Geographotel Paris-Roissy CDG Airport

I chose Geographotel because it had a free hotel shuttle van to take me from Paris's CDG Airport to the hotel. I had to stay overnight and get up at 4:30 AM in time to have coffee and catch the first van at 5:30 AM. I only had to wait 10 minutes after I called the driver directly on his portable number (which the hotel emails to you in advance of your stay). The check-in was very quick and the receptionist was polite and efficient, and he spoke English. I arranged the departure van on check-in for 5:30 AM the next morning. It departed on time and the Brazilian driver was courteous and assisted with my suitcase. The hotel is very quiet. I found my room had a very comfortable mattress and pillows, and the toilet with shower was very clean, and had enough clean white towels and liquid hand and shower shampoo and soaps dispensers. I made two cups of tea in my room. It's a basic no-frills place to stay but perfectly ok for the price. There is no restaurant open at night and the bar was closed. I did not have breakfast but at the early hour there was only one man eating. He said he was flying home to Brazil. Credit and debit cards are accepted. I paid a 5 Euro room tax on arrival.

Rooms were not ready when we got there. Have to wait, but we had complimentary drinks mean waiting.

It was in a lovely village that had a great Italian restaurant where we had lunch and dinner.

The description said soundproofing. Not only could I hear the planes from CDG airport, I could hear everything going on in the hotel. Everytime someone moved in the room next door, or the corridor. The cleaning staff cleaned rooms for 3 hours across and beside us for 3 hours in the afternoon from 4-7. We had driven up from southern France and were trying to sleep. Difficult with vacuuming and the wall behind us being banged. We wanted a drink after diner. Sat at the bar. No one came to serve us. Breakfast at 15€ each was terrible. All I ended up with was coffee as the croissant and bread were stale.

The bed was comfortable and the room ok (except the sound proofing) , the free transfer to the airport

It was not clean at all, the corridor floor was quite dirty, the room floor was dirty too, the worst was the toilets. Please pay better and give more time to clean to the personal
