TownePlace Suites by Marriott Tucson

We visited with family for Thanksgiving and I don’t like driving at night anymore so we decided to spend the night in Tucson and drive home to Phoenix in the morning. As a platinum Bonvoy member I always look for Marriott branded hotels and this Townplace Suites was close to our family and the photos on the website looked promising. We arrived for checkin around 7pm and the young man at the desk was personable and efficient. Checkin was a breeze and we were soon in our room, a studio queen. The room was spacious with tons of storage. Although we didn’t need it, there was a small full kitchen. The bathroom was typically small, but well appointed, shower was great. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was provided in an area off the lobby. Many choices of food and seating area was nice and kept very clean. Would definitely avail myself of this hotel again the next time we spend a night or two in Tucson.

Stayed for a 2-night trip. Arrived late for check-in, and front desk attendant was grumpy and would not look for another room for us. Other than that, stay was fine. Room was clean and relatively quiet. Breakfast was okay. Pool was nice for a short dip.

We were happily surprised about the quality and service. We were warmly greeted by Jasmine (I’m pretty sure that was her name...a native Californian). The room was clean and included a fully stocked kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, and apartment sized refrigerator, The tub/shower is well appointed with a shower curtain on a half circle and a shower head that had a lot of pressure to make you feel really clean. My son slept on the sofa bed that he said was quite comfy as was the king bed that I slept on. But the biggest surprise was the full breakfast that came with our room. It was delicious...There were cheese omelets, sausage patties, bagels, bread for toast, cereals, cheese plate, fruit, make your own waffles plus more. It was really appreciated since we had a long drive ahead of us. Truely, a wonderful experience...thanks to all

Just a quick overnight stay. Quiet clean and comfortable.

Really great and comfortable place. Very clean and surprisingly quiet for a holiday weekend. Staff was really helpful when I needed something. The breakfast was great and actually felt safe to grab and go despite covid still being around. Loved the tv/streaming options in the room. Would absolutely come back.

We enjoy this hotel and stay here often.

Felt like home, they really tried to have the rooms stocked with anything we might need to make it a great value and convenient.

Hot breakfast, which is rare these days. The beds were comfortable, but the sofa bed is terrible, could feel every spring through the matress - something a piece of cardboard could have fixed, I expected better. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Fitness facility and pool are both open (also rare these days). TV was the big disappointment, only a few channels, and Marriott seems to have started included streaming services (Netflix, etc.) but you have to enter your own ID and password over an unsecure network. Not crazy about that. Normally I don't care that much about TV, but during these times it has become a necessity to keep boredom at bay.

The room was clean. It was smaller than expected. The living area furniture was very uncomfortable.
