Motel 6-Mount Pleasant, TX

Prices were decent for what I got and it was close enough to town.

Receptionist was sleeping on the mattress behind the counter when I went to check out. Mold was around the seal of the bath tub. Strange person that moved his car to 3 different locations in the parking lot and just sat in the car for 30-45 minutes in 3 different locations

The Jalapeno Tree restaurant and the IHOP next door. The place was reasonably clean and accepted pets.

It was pouring down rain when I arrived, and I couldn't pull into the overhang at the front door because the guy working the lobby had his car parked there. Also, I had to go to the lobby and request a remote for the TV given there wasn't one in the room. When I checked out, the guy working the lobby was asleep on the floor of the lobby. I had to wake him up in order to get a receipt printed. It turned out his printer was nearly out of ink and I could barely read it.

There was no breakfast, as stated the location look like you were gonna get robbed. As soon as you pulled out, the rooms were disgusting. It look like a meth lab. The way to the room was terrible one walkway no handicap not one, and when I asked, we were told yesterday was one handicap and we would get it. That was not Hilda police were escorting people out of the motel so that alone showed us. It was a high drug area. The trash was all over the ground busting out of the trashcan, smelling like an alley somewhere. This place literally should be shut down.

To close it down and re-open by a totally new establish her this place is literally off the charts zero From feeling safe to feeling comfortable, and we never felt either the most terrible part of our entire stay and they don’t offer a refund police were in and out of the property escorting a homeless.

I did not like one single thing about my stay

Everything was broke and needed to be fixed in the room not to mention there was roaches lots and lots of roaches I went up to the office to upgrade my room she lied to me and said there was no rooms available where there was two empty rooms that was available and she also told me I couldn't get my money back for the room that I that had all the roaches horrible experience the worst hotel I've ever been to
