"Solid quiet stay for a chain in a small city."

This hotel was better than anticipated for a Sunday-Tuesday stay. It's a short distance from the historic downtown area, and it's been updated at some point, which is great if you don't want to sleep in the Victorian era vibe. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom amenities could have listed brand that they are, front desk staff were pleasant when checking in and at breakfast. We did not use the pool, but it could be fun if traveling with children. The hot breakfast - eggs and crispy bacon - were better than expected.

The staff was wonderful, very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic, lots of options and plenty of room to spread out. Best rates in town, and still just a hop skip and a jump from downtown and all the touristy areas.

The TV kept going in and out saying it lost signal. We also did not have a shower curtain in our room.

The guy at the front desk was incredibly nice. The pool was the nicest hotel pool i have ever seen. The room was clean and comfortable.

It was crowded, but there is nothing you can do about that.
