Sleep Inn North Charleston Ashley Phosphate

Never checked in. They had no record of my reservation. Hotel staff spoke very little English. Claimed “no comprendo”

I booked (4) rooms with Sleep Inn for the first time and the last time. I had my construction crew stay for a job and they never complain but after this one night, they asked to never go back. The rooms were filthy and the carpers were dirty. The A/C unit was disgusting and barely worked. The bathroom shower door had soap scum and the shower floor was dirty as well. The toilet tissue holder looked a mess.

When we got to the room, we didnt have no towels or wash cloths at all. The shampoo wws out in the shower! When I told the front desk the guy was rude and thought i was lieing. The breakfast was cold and not good at all! Ill never stay here again..

Location, Manager was nice

Please deodorizer between bed and night stand and underneath sinks and desks.

Our reservation was cancelled on the day of our arrival. We received a phone call from the hotel, which I did not answer because it was an unknown number. I have never heard of hotel employees calling to verify that we would be there. We received the call around 12pm. Check-in was not even allowed until 3 pm. We were told that because it was a busy weekend rooms were being given away to other travelers. Once we got to the hotel and were told we did not have a reservation, my husband refused to leave. We were finally given a room. We heard the representative at the front desk quoting rates that were double what the rate I had booked.

Bad vibes

Smaller then my normal but alright for what you pay and last minute option. Didn't like bathroom at all

The property was close by the main events.
