Holiday Inn Express & Suites Watsonville by IHG

No bath tub plug so I could not bath my children only shower available … they comped our “market/frontdesk” purchases to help make experience not as bad.

We have to wait 30mins at lobby for check in. Nobody there.

The stay was horrible very sorry feeling. The ADU room that they booked as a “suite” was very small. The tub had a broken drain and it didn’t work we had to take showers only. Also the sink outside of the bath because it was and disabled set up room sprayed water everywhere when turned in. Obviously the the metal filter was not installed as it looked to be somewhat new … water aggressively sprayed out everywhere … there were hi alas in bikes constantly in parking lot going in and out of creek area where they were obviously living…

Electric went out. Staffs are very friendly and hospitality. If electric didn’t went out and if breakfast was served, would give five stars.

Very clean. Very quiet. Beds were comfortable and really liked the location.

I loved the front desk staff, especially Sherrie (I believe was her name). She noted where I was from and I discovered she used to live in my state of Nevada (Reno). She gave me recommendations of fun things to do there which was dear because I’m new to Nevada. I also liked that IHG members could ask for later checkout. The mattress was amazing and the decor very nice in the room. BTW, I said “not applicable” to the services I didn’t use.

I would love if the room doors could be propped open somehow, as I was carting several things on the luggage cart and otherwise (to prevent car theft) and the door kept swinging shut on me. I’d love if breakfast could have gone ‘til 10am.

Obviously the proce for the hotel. Pricey for 1 night
