"Nice Stop-Over Point along I25"

We were traveling from the Black Hills to southern New Mexico and decided to stop at this site for the night. It is located near the I25 corridor, easy access on and off the roadway ... with a few restaurants nearby for dinner. Nice place ... welcoming staff ... and the room was nice. My wife and I agreed that the hotel was the quietest of any facility that we have stayed in ... very comfortable in this regard. They site offered hot chocolate and hot apple cider in the evening, and the breakfast was OK the next day. Nothing majorly wrong, except the eggs were cold, and the OJ seemed new (luke-warm). However, the lobby was clean and very professional, already decorated for Christmas. And the exterior grounds appeared to be maintained ... except for a few pieces of blown trash here and there. We normally stay at LaQuinta's ... but we were happy with the Americinn. If we make this long trip again, we will likely stay here. Affordable and comfortable for one night.

"No frills hotel but a wonderful place to stay"

The hotel staff and everyone was excellent. The quietest hotel I have ever stayed at. I travel a great deal. The staff made you feel at home. It was clean and had an inside pool. I would highly recommend staying here. I am also picky.

It is in a great location! Always serve a good breakfast. Staff is always so friendly especially Patrick at the front desk!! Always return to this hotel.

"Dishonest about the pool"

Breakfast was good the room was nice

Was told the pool was open until 11 when I checked in went to go to the pool about 8pm they put a sign up saying pool was under maintenance but didn't see anyone doing anything and then the sign was gone in the morning seems like maybe the night shift just put the sign up to not have to deal with it and we were really looking forward to swimming was one of the main reasons we stayed there

"Tired hotel, needs some attention"

Good location off the freeway. Staff were very friendly.

The sheets were too small for the bed so they popped off as soon as I laid on them. It was very difficult to get them back on enough to stay through the night. The A/C wasn't working properly and the room was hot and stuffy, despite setting the thermostat as low as can go. Luckily, the windows were operable and we were able to get some air.
