If you are planning a wedding and want to keep your sanity, DO NOT book your room block here. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, but the sheer incompetence & lack of organization from the management team at this hotel added an entirely unnecessary level of anxiety to our wedding planning process. From start to finish, the management team was absolutely useless. Firstly, multiple guests of ours booked and paid for a two-night stay, only to check their reservation confirmation and see only 1-night was on there and had to then call the hotel to fix the issue for them. Secondly, and the worst problem of all, was that we countlessly tried to ask for an update to our block and the only list they would send had 20 people on it... we know well over 40 rooms were booked and others confirming they were on our block but wouldn't be on the list we got. Then they would try to say "oh there's another list we weren't including" which still would only add 5 more rooms and be nowhere near 40 rooms. So on one hand, we had management telling us 50% of our block was still available, but then if you called the front desk they would tell you the room block was 100% full! It absolutely made me feel like I was going insane and very uneasy about something so simple that the management team should be able to handle with their eyes closed. They then charged us (the bride and groom) for our hotel room which you're supposed to get free as a courtesy because according to them our block wasn't full, even though it clearly was since all 65 welcome bags we handed out were all gone. Multiple family & friends called us expressing the issues and difficulties this hotel gave them when trying to book their rooms - literally the only thing you need to be able to do when working at a hotel!! A hotel management team is supposed to make your wedding weekend easier for you and your guests. Save yourself the headache—book your wedding block literally anywhere else. This management team does not deserve your business.
