Restaurant en tuin. Uitzicht fantastisch en lobby netjes.

Ik vond de slaapkamer voorzieningen niet zo goed voor een luxe hotel. Geen vloerhanddoek. Geen gastendoek. Er hing een gordijntje, waardoor de badkamer helemaal nat was geworden. Bed sliep niet lekker. Was een beetje hard door lage kwaliteit topper. Ik verwachtte vuurkorf in de avond.

breakfast and the staff in the dining room were very well helpful and supportive. They treated very well and with empathy. food was delicious. liked a lot. food was at top notch and also the hospitality at peak with all the staff were being very helpful in serving with a pleasant smile even in the peak foot fall at the dining area.

The maintainance of the room. My only complaint is on the toilet maintainance. the exhaust of the toilet being centralised but even though it was not working properly, there were foul smell in the toilet which has been complained to the reception but none came to rectify or even came and checked on the same. even after repeated phone call over intercom. Tiles in the showers were broken. the amenities were in maintainance which had not informed at the time of booking. the transparency was missing. many could even book the room even after intimating in the portal.. that honesty was missing.... at-least this could be done by the management .. instead of having so many medals and cups in the showcase and putting wall of fame in the reception from so many celebs ..

Lage der Unterkunft ist perfekt - mit Blick über ganz Ooty. Und man kann mit American Express bezahlen (das ist - zumindest in Ooty - nur selten möglich). Wäscheservice war gut und schnell. Große Speisenauswahl (vorwiegend indisch, natürlich).

Die Sauberkeit war mangelhaft: Taubendreck direkt vor den Fenstern und über der Terrasse. Gläser und Besteck im Restaurant schmutzig. Die Küchenbelüftung verlief direkt neben unserem Zimmer und brummte Tag und Nacht, zusätzlich zu Küchendüften auf dem Hotelgang. Personal sprach nur sehr wenig oder gar kein Englisch. Am eigenartigsten war die Forderung eines Rezeptionsmitarbeiters, uns im Zimmer zu fotografieren - da sei aus Sicherheitsgründen bei Ausländern so üblich, schließlich könne das Foto in Pass und Visum ja alt sein (?). Über das Management habe wir eine solche Prozedur verweigert. Fitnessbereich offensichtlich schon länger gesperrt. Kurz und gut: Die besten Zeiten dieses Hotels sind lange vorbei.

Check in process was horrible. They asked ID for everyone which was not informed earlier . They took photo of id in their personal phone which was unprofessional.
