Quality Inn Palm Bay - Melbourne I-95

This stop was a one night stay heading south. Checked in hotel and went to room. Unloaded luggage and went out to dinner. Came back to settle in for the night and heard a loud banging from room nexts door. I investigated and found out I was next to a maintenance room. Called down to front desk and explained loud sound and (John) nite desk manager stated its the Hot Water Boiler that makes that sound. I advised it is to noisy to get to sleep and If i could change room. He stated hotel is full and have no empty rooms. He said that is nothing new about the noise in the room but cant do anything about as the hotel needs the hot water. I had no other choice but to stay in room. This noised continued till midnight. Finally got to sleep and it started again in the morning at 4:30 am. So much for a good night sleep. I spoke with Hotel Manager (Vanessa) in the morning requesting a refund for this horrible night and her response was it's not that loud and I will not issue you a refund. I advied her that (John) nite desk person said to contact manager in the morning to get a refund. She called me a liar in front of many other customers and I was not happy with this treatment. This manager had no right to call me a liar and I requested her to contact night man to confirm what he told me. She stated its her decesion and would not issued a refund. Vanassa is an extremly rude person and I do not see how she can be a hotel manager. Stay Away from this place and if you get room 309 be aware of this issue. Will never stay at this property again

Location and friendly staff

Our room had a horrible mildew smell and the carpet was damp... causing low air quality which breathing made it difficult and personally to me made me stuffy 🤧 everytime I came inside the room... we did tell the staff in the front ... besides that everything was good with our stay..

The gentleman at the reception was very pleasant and helpful and offered his assistance when I had a problem in my room.

The cleanliness of the room was below the acceptable standards which was very unpleasant for myself and my family. I informed the gentleman at the reception of it. We also decided to have breakfast at a local restaurant as we were told that the breakfast at the hotel was premade. I am also still waiting a refund of my deposit.

The staff were amazing! Took care of me at every turn

Breakfast was awful. Selection sucked or they ran out and didn't replenish. The carpet in my room felt wet and was dirty, borderline gross. Oh and for the coast of each night I expected much better quality.
