Plaza Beach Hotel - Beachfront Resort

The staff member Cherish saved our trip. We had a room at one of their properties which although nice was facing the noisiest street ever. We were supposed to stay there another three nights and my husband and I were really unhappy with that prospect. I called Cherish and then went to the front desk and searched their 3 properties and found us a GREAT room —one of the best as it faced the beach and had a balcony. She was so helpful with that and getting us oriented to the area. She’s warm, friendly and totally on top of things. She saved our trip!

I truly enjoyed my stay at Plaza Beach Hotel. Manager Aaron and the staff went above and beyond with their customer service and made me feel right at home. The hotel was clean, the rooms were spacious, and having direct access to the beach made the experience even better. Everything was excellent, and I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing beachfront stay.

We had a wonderful visit at Plaza Beach Hotel. Everything from the Happy Hour, games, pool and Tiki Bar. The staff is great but especially Judy in housekeeping. She is caring, very friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of during our stay!

Customer service here is top notch! We had just arrived and I was having trouble setting up my work wifi. Liam was at our room in less than 5 minutes. He was friendly and immediately figured it out for me. Very grateful! They have a great crew who really care about making our stay enjoyable.

Room was clean. Happy hour fantastic. A time to meet new people. Liam ,an employee, was very pleasant and actively helping everyone to have a good time. Great employee.

This was my first time on the Gulf side of Florida and in St. Pete's Beach. I decided to stay in this area because I wanted to take day trips and this was the perfect location. Liam and Tanner at the front desk or so kind and helpful. They were great to talk to and extremely friendly! The hotel itself was nice, and my room was very spacious. It even had an old-fashioned fridge and couches in front of the TV that were movie styled. It was a very fun, happy, vibe that was 50s retro inspired.If only the weather was warmer during my visit, I felt like I really could've maximized my time at the hotel. They really made great use of their space with Life-size games, mini golf, and not to mention the beach was just steps away. I will definitely have to come back when the weather is warmer!!

Plaza Beach is back—and better than ever! Following the major destruction from the hurricane in fall of 2023, there have been lots of improvements - new landscaping, new furniture, new pool loungers, new outdoor games — but still great employees and a fun vibe. Rooms have been refurbished and updated, continuing the clever 50’s theme. Tanner is a rockstar in the front office, always helpful, accommodating, and friendly. Krystal is the rockstar of the Housekeeping department. She checked almost daily to see what we needed, was always friendly, and did her job with a great attitude and a smile on her face. We absolutely love this locally owned resort which is why we keep coming back year after year.
