"Good experience- friendly staff."

10.0

We stayed at this resort in April 2026 and had the best experience. The room was a bit dated, had issues with shower and toilet however the staff went above and beyond to assist us in all possible ways. Alba - was so pleasant and friendly to us every time she saw us. Always had a big smile on her face and ready to make our stay more comfortable. All the staff was always friendly and ready to assist. Food was awesome.

"Had a good time."

6.0

Deluxe garden view room was great, everything worked in the room. The food was very good with a lots of great variety an the buffet and a la carte restaurants .Most of the employees are friendly. People smoke just about everywhere so you get secondhand smoke, very unhealthy. Animation team is not inclusive.

"Horrible resort"

4.0

The best part of this resort is the beach. The rooms are completely plain, you have to hold the shower head or the whole bathroom gets soaked. The buffet and snack bar food is awful. There is only one person working at most of the bars, so line ups for drinks is deplorable. As a group of 22 that traveled here, several of us went and bought our own. ALMOST ALL THE STAFF NEEDS A BIG LESSON IN HOSPITALITY!!

"What a fun week"

Luz kika was great with our kids! She always had a fun activity for them to participate in at the small pool located at the bigger pool. We appreciate her kindness and the special certificate they all get to take home.

"False Advertisement – Ghetto resort nightmare"

2.0

Oh man where do I begin… first night was okay, room seemed fine, nothing fancy. But then it just went downhill from there. TRUTH ABOUT “SELECT” – FALSE ADVERTISEMENT: 60% of the resort is off-limits to you unless you pay for “Select” rooms. I wasn’t even given the option to get Select when booking, but when I spoke to some people at the resort, I paid almost $700 more than they did and they got Select. So it really doesn’t make sense. THERE IS NO PRIVATE BEACH ACCESS UNLESS YOU HAVE “SELECT” – The map is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. The second half of the beach is more like a PATIO. The ONLY actual private beach access is for “Select”. YOU CAN NEVER GET A CHAIR - People are crafty and rude, will try to leave towels in the middle of the night. I had to pay to go to the public beach access because I COULD NEVER FIND A SPOT. It began down pouring – obviously not their fault it rained – however, the entire resort FLOODED. Their drainage system COULD NOT handle the volume of water. It was like that for the first 3 days. I waited hours to go for dinner, but it would not stop. So I had to go out in the flood with an umbrella. It was so slippery and dangerous – I tripped several times. Just awful. This also resulted in the majority of the resort being off-limits bcuz of the weather for 3 days. HARASSMENT FROM SECURITY: That brings me to security – a security person named “Kevin” harassed me the entire time. I had to walk through the “Select” area to get to my room, and he would constantly stop me. One night after a downpour, I went and sat at some beach chairs – NO ONE WAS THERE. The chairs were drenched and I just found a corner to sit. Kevin came out of nowhere telling me to leave (even though no one was there). I could barely understand him because he didn’t speak much English, but his body language was threatening. He got into my personal space, inches from my face, to tell me to leave. There were NO barriers, signs, or anything indicating these areas were off-limits. Kevin approached me multiple times throughout the week (week from hell). He would point and laugh at me, making jokes to his buddies. I complained to the guest services manager “Winston”, who defended Kevin. He said I should not be walking to my room through the “Select” area. Wild. Even after I complained, Kevin still came up to me, laughed, and made remarks in Spanish. THE FOOD IS TERRIBLE: If you are a vegetarian, there will be hardly any options. If you have allergies, you will likely have a reaction as there are no proper sanitary measures and many items are not labelled. It is the same food every night. LOCALS ARE LOUD AND RUDE: Will not stand in line, will not be quiet. CANADIANS ARE DRUNKIES: Will take entire 1L bottles and fill them with beer. By mid-day they are drunk, obnoxious and think they are funny but really just embarrassing. AL LA CARTE: Unless you wake up at 8am every day, you won't get a reservation. ELECTRICITY DIDN’T WORK IN ROOM: The electricity stopped working halfway through the stay. TELEPHONES IN ROOM DON’T WORK: Calling from your cell to their number doesn’t work either (all 3 numbers). When I brought this to guest services, they laughed – “ha ha yeah phone no working”. So basically, EVERY TIME THERE WAS AN ISSUE YOU HAD TO WALK TO THE FRONT DESK to ask for help. And even then, they would not just take care of it – I had to go back 4 separate times and escalate to Winston before anything was fixed. SHOWERHEAD FELL ON ME DURING SHOWER WARM WATER IS HIT OR MISS: Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Try your luck. IF YOU ARE DISABLED – AVOID FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY: This resort is NOT made for people with disabilities. There are too many hazards to list. CLEANERS WILL LET THEMSELVES IN AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT: The room was cleaned every day, however the cleaning staff were sus. Even when I put the DND sign on the door, they still came in. One time I had the sign up and left the room, came back quickly to find the towels were taken but nothing else. Another time I was running late, had the DND sign up, and while I was in the shower, staff banged on the door and then opened it. I had to run out half naked to stop them. 15 MINUTES LATER THEY CAME BACK – a different cleaner and now a man too – knocking, then OPENING THE DOOR again without giving me a chance to respond. It was wild. Something definitely SUS.
