AmericInn by Wyndham White Bear Lake St. Paul

My flight was delayed in Seattle, in return arriving later in Minnesota. Arrived at the hotel past 1am, no front desk clerk and greeted with hostility & my reservation was cancelled because I didn’t call the hotel. Instead of trying to fix the problem. The hotel staff yelled at me & told me to seek other arrangements. Terrible experience Go to the Best Western Hotel down the street, better service.

Rude staff

Wished the hot tub could have worked in the room i was in, and wished the hot tub water in the swimming pool area was a little bit more warmer and not luke warmed water. My keys got deactivated and had to be reactivated , Expedia third party was horrible when i was in the system for a reservation never again through Expedia

Toilet was not clean Faucet in tub made noises (vibration) It stopped after I turned faucet to shower

They lady work at the desk was great and friendly and really helpful

Nice and clean. Easy checking in, the receptionist was really nice. Toiletries was given when asked. The pool area was clean and quiet. We were the only ones there for hours.

The room had a bad odor. Our stay was for 8 days. We got some plug ins to help us with the smell. Breakfast was ok. We had to ask for food refill on certain days. The server was nice enough to get some. Over all breakfast was decent.

AmericInnns are not what they use to be. I traveled extensively throughout MN over the years and use to find AmericInns to be reliable and consistent but cleanliness and service have been worse since becoming Wyndham
