Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans Canal St. French Quarter

We were there for a concert at The Saenger Theatre. We could see it less than a block away! Upgraded to a corner suite for an amazing price!

We had to find parking. It would’ve been nice to get a little guidance about what is nearby. Once we parked we walked by another lot even closer.

We had an incredible time here during our honeymoon! The entire property was fantastic, but our stay was completely made by Eshet at the front desk. From the second we arrived, she was incredibly warm and welcoming. She went completely above and beyond at check-in, working some serious magic to give us a room experience that totally blew us away and made us feel like VIPs. On top of that, Eshet took so much time to really welcome us to the city. She gave us a wonderful breakdown of the French Quarter, pointed out all the best spots to eat, and let us know exactly what to expect while exploring the neighborhood. Her local tips were spot-on and really helped shape our trip. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you’re visiting, you’re in great hands with Eshet and the rest of the team. Highly recommend, and we can’t wait to come back!

The location is blocks away from Bourbon Street

It’s dated. I didn’t like that you had to pay for parking in the garage down the road.

Quelle déception..J’ai reçu un mail m’informant d’un problème avec ma CB vers 14h, jour de mon arrivée et un peu plus tard de l’annulation de ma réservation. Je suis arrivée à l’hôtel sans avoir vu ces mails avec la surprise de cette annulation. La personne à l’accueil m’a informé qu’il y avait encore la possibilité de réserver à nouveau. J’ai accepté mais au moment de payer, le prix n’était plus le même : ~200$ en plus. Quel accueil ! J’ai envoyé plusieurs messages pour demander à reconsidérer le prix et me rembourser la différence …mais pas de réponse ! (Plus facile/rapide d’annuler la chambre ! ) Aux USA depuis 2 semaines et ayant voyagé de nombreuses fois aux USA, c’est la première fois que cette situation arrive et je ne trouve pas cela normale sachant que ma carte a très bien fonctionné sur les 15 jours, je me suis présentée à l’hôtel en temps et en heure …bref une belle arnaque ! Au niveau de la chambre (et pour le prix !), petite. La chambre n’a pas été faite la 1ère nuit et les poubelles pas vidées la 2ème. Très bruyant, prévoir absolument les boules Quies ! Cet hôtel était le point d’orgue de notre voyage et l’enveloppe consacré était pour nous un effort. Nous nous attendions réellement à mieux….

I love the property, and it was close to a lot of restaurants.

Nothing negative to say about this hotel.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the location because we were close to shops and places to eat. We were within walking distance of Bourbon Street.

Our room was on the Canal Street side and it was very nosy until about 2:00 in the morning, but we still had a very enjoyable night.

Location

The price I paid per night was on par with a hotel with far more amenities than this one. Even worse, the room was not clean, no housekeeping was provided during my stay (they only come every other night), multiple outlets did not work, the sink faucet was unattached, and the shower was dirty. The walls are thin, you can hear every word uttered by people in adjacent rooms. The sink is a single, which is difficult when more than one person is staying in the room- there is nearly no counter space. Overall, I expected so much more for >350/night.
