The room wa satisfactory but the housekeeping was lackluster. we had five people in our room and not enough towels. I had to go to the front desk at 5:30am to request towels on the second day of our stay. That did not make me happy.

4/4-7/2026: Visiting from Dallas, TX. This was my worst hotel stay experience in 40 years. When I checked in, Jake, who said he had been with the company for 15 years, was unable to accommodate an upgrade as a Diamond member for my entire stay (3 days). I told him that I had no problems switching rooms mid stay, but he didn't even make an effort. My Diamond status was barely recognized, although he did provide water and a snack. It was not a great check in experience. My room had not been cleaned or maintained thoroughly, as there were beads behind television stand, the toilet seat was loose, the towel holder on the shower door was loose, the toilet paper holder was loose, and the peephole was dirty. These deficiencies are all easily remedied. The first morning, I went to breakfast. The scrambled eggs were cold, along with the potatoes. The sausage did not appear to have been properly cooked and the waffle tasted weird, Needless to say, I did not attempt to go to breakfast again during my stay. On the second morning, around 6:30 am, I was woken up by loud screaming, apparently in the room next door. I went to the front desk and spoke with Eshet. She was unconcerned about a potential domestic violence situation. There was no Security or a manager available. When I mentioned calling 911, she said not to do that, and for the guests in the room to work it out. I asked when the manager would arrive, and she said that they had their own schedule. I went back to the front desk a few hours later, and requested to speak to the manager. After about 20 minutes, Eshet was unable to locate him. I left the property and returned a couple of hours later. I asked to speak to the manager. His name was James Thomas, and he had been made aware of the morning incident. He did not appear to be concerned, did not offer any kind of apology, and frankly did not appear to want to be bothered. I told him that I was not feeling any kind of reassurances from him. The staff which I encountered needs retraining in customer service and addressing concerns. I cannot in good conscience recommend this property to anyone. This staff is not reflective of the great level of service which I am used to within the Hilton portfolio. The location was ok, but there are plenty of other Hilton properties in the French Quarter.
