"It was good for a short stay"

It was nice breakfast room was nice bed was comfy wasn’t loud in the hotel it’s right beside a bunch of food spots and stores!

The only issues we had was the tv remote did not work right we struggled to change channels and watch tv. The shower did not get hot for an hour and even then it still wasn’t very hot

The location of the hotel is great

The breakfast was awful! The gravy was cold , the biscuits wasn't cooked all the way through , The muffins taste terrible , The orange juice tasted like it had been made with a little bit of a going bad orange taste. The breakfast was like this for both mornings . The 1st full day at the hotel there was no ice I was told the machine was broke , the chair in the room was very uncomfortable the seat was broken and wore out , ( not the desk chair but the main chair ) this morning there was no hot or even warm water t er to take a shower before I had to get on the road I kept checking the water for 2 hours ,

It was very clean, quiet, good water pressure shower. Nice jacuzzi in the room. Staff was friendly and efficient and when we requested extra towels and pillows they brought them very quickly.

The phone in our room didn't work so we had to go to front desk to request extra towels but was no big deal. The room was supposed to be non smoking but someone had obviously been smoking in there because we could smell the stale smoke smell. Wish bed lil softer.

"Avoid econolodge. They will scam you and they will not give you your money back."

Nothing.

The staff. The management. Starting with booking.com. I had stayed in Shelbyville KY last year so I clicked my last stay and it linked me back to Econolodge in Shelbyville. I booked it and got there only to find out they had swapped it for Shelbyville, Tennessee. The front desk couldn't help me so I called booking. The lady tried to call the place and get them to refund my money but they wouldn't answer. I called and the front desk person was rude and said they couldn't help. Only booking could do it. Booking said that they couldn't refund the money because the business had to. I tried calling again and they never answered. I requested free cancelation through the app and sent several messages. No response. I ended up being only able to get half my money back for the stay through an option in the app. The fact the facility was so rude and ignored all my messages and calls felt unprofessional. I will never book another Econolodge stay. I had a great stay last year but this one really burned me.
